Glenmont prides itself on successfully
balancing enforcing high community standards with home owner
freedom to enjoy and improve their properties as they wish.
While architectural alterations, improvements, replacements
and additions are required to receive approval of the
Architectural Review Committee, we are proud that there have
been no neighbor squabbles over the past 25 years where owners
were not allowed to do what they wanted. Sure, maybe some
minor ARC suggestions may have been taken into account, but so
far . . . everyone has been satisfied. If you are planning on
making an improvement, addition or replacement on your
property, please review the Glenmont Covenants and
Restrictions, and be sure to contact the Architectural Review
Committee. For your reference, they have created a cheat sheet
to help you know what is required, and to ensure everyone's
property values continue to soar. |

In addition to any rules and regulations
as may be enforced by the Glenmont HOA Architectural
Review Committee, any alterations and/or additions must
secure all permits, approvals and inspections as may
be required by Howard County. You can reference Howard County's
web site for information, and you can review Howard County's Zoning Regulations for
fence, setback and use regulations.
